About the Founder
Keep the knowledge close to the work.
A note from Larry Williams on why Prelion Systems is being built for the people and processes behind the plant floor.

01 / The reason
The gap is visible on the floor.
What I saw
A generation of process knowledge is retiring.
I have watched a generation of operators retire and take decades of process knowledge with them.
The training gap
Technology does not replace the training the work requires.
Younger operators are more comfortable with technology, but they receive less training than the work requires. That gap affects OEE, scrap, and unexplained downtime.
What Prelion is built to close
Keep troubleshooting, training, and safety tied to the work.
Prelion is built to close that gap with guided troubleshooting, equipment-tied training, root-cause analysis, and safety and permit workflows.

Where it is being built
I build Prelion in the evenings and on weekends from Axis, Alabama, about an hour from many target plants. The work is grounded in thirty years of standing at the machine.
